One more summer activity
…that I forgot to post about! – my trip east to help out my friend Cara during her battle against breast cancer. Thanks Cara for calling me out, haha. 😉

I visited without kids and was thus “free as a bee” (as my kids like to say) and demanded being put to work. Cara always wanted flowers by the front porch and a walkway from the driveway. And also the front step needed fixin’. Here is the before picture.

The side of the house was also in desperate need of a weed job.
So I did that too. As well as some cooking, babysitting and general catching up with my good friend. 🙂
