New Year’s in Pennsylvania

The day after we arrived in Pittsburgh we embarked upon an adventure day downtown for the kids: A ride on the subway, a look at the gingerbread and train display in the PPG building, and a then a ride on the incline. Good thing we decided to do all this on the first day, because the kids soon came down with bronchitis a few days later. Booooo.

Paul’s family postponed their traditional Christmas Eve polish dinner until we were in town. Paul’s brother Mark, Francine and Luke hosted…and did all the cooking. Mmmmmm!
