Hazel, Fishin’ and Strawberry Pickin’
While on this trip we realized Ivan LOVES dogs (thank you Morgie!). My parent’s family dog Hazel quickly became his new best friend.
Not sure which is more impressive: Hazel, or the green stuff
He decides Hazel is and abandons the grass the follow her down the driveway
Walking on the rocky driveway in bare feet is for most, a bit painful. Ivan apparently doesn’t seem to care.
Awe, friends.
Meanwhile, Silas fishes with Papa and catches a nice one!
Ivan pets it, Silas kisses it…
…and then fishy is back in the pond so “it can swim home to his famawee.”
Little brother approves of big brother’s compassion
Mama sees wild strawberries in the grass and the hunt is on!

Mmmmm
And what the heck – how about storytime outside on the grass to top it all off? This day couldn’t get any more picture perfect. 😉
