Like many, we’ve used this stay at home time to knock out a long overdue home project. We ripped down the shade structure in this corner of the back patio about a year ago. It was falling apart and ready to kill someone. My exact thought after it came down: “well, we won’t be getting around to re-building that for at least 3 years I’m sure.” So uh, thank you stay-at-home order?
And patio furniture (that I’ve wanted for like 10 million years!!!) will be here in a few weeks!
I almost venture to call this also a pandemic perk. We haven’t dyed eggs for years on account of Easter coinciding with the kids’ Spring Break from school and thus us being away on a climbing trip at Yosemite (where we had plans to be this year too). I mean c’mon, dyeing Easter eggs is almost as much fun as climbing beautiful granite house-sized boulders in the most gorgeous valley on earth, right? Seriously, right? RIGHT?!!!! 😩
This would have been one of my last workouts before departing for Yosemite and another attempt on Shadow Warrior (v12). Now I have a good excuse to stay in tip top shape until November.
This “campusing” focused workout included:
Warmup: Active mobility, jump rope, bands, Is, Ys, Ts, playing on the pommel and TGUs (8kg – 36kg)
Bouldering: V0 – V8 (select problems to warmup fingers)
