After what might have been our longest Hueco hiatus ever….we have at long last returned.

When Silas gets an idea in his head, he just won’t let it go until it comes to fruition. This kid HAD to visit the Pima Air and Space Museum this summer to see a Super Guppy. Finally his “dream came true” when the boys got pick what they wanted to do on the last day of summer vacation before the start of school. Me, with no idea what the heck a Super Guppy even was, followed this crazed boy first to the docent so he could ask where it was parked, and then out onto the airplane field on a 100+ degree afternoon. For those that need the same explanation I did – a Super Guppy moves space equipment.

We changed it up a bit this summer – bought a rope and tied in! Here are some random shots from Mt. Lemmon. We’ve been heading up there and doing routes most weekends this summer. Climbing local is quite a treat…so easy!
Don’t get me wrong though – this mama is totally antsy to get back to the boulders ASAP!

Snuck in this hike with the kids just before summer hit and the temps went up.
