Clearly life is busy around here….
June 4th, 2017The Camp Life
April 26th, 2017
The last loop in Upper Pines had some major pine beetle infestation and dead trees had to come down (according to rangers). This early in the season, with clean-up still ongoing, we were basically camped in the middle of a logging operation. There were a few bonuses to this though. Lots of bark to make a teepee

…and plenty of fire wood, hehe.

Rainy day dinner

and guidebook browsing, a standard ritual.

April 22nd, 2017Boulder scoping
April 19th, 2017Checking out boulders and problems makes for some beautiful walks in the valley. We had so much more daylight as compared to our last trip over Thanksgiving. We walked/hiked just about every day on this trip, even after a full day of climbing. Thankfully we have these two little boys with legs that never seem to tire. 😉

April 18th, 2017Spring Recap
April 17th, 2017It’s been quiet here on apAdventures and high time for an update! We’ve had a little bit of everything going on this spring: home improvements, bountiful gardening, school volunteering, kettlebell training, a minor surgery that’s not worth going into explanation but did require some down-time, and yes…of course..climbing too. Brace yourselves for a barrage of photo recaps. 🙂
I’ll start with the most recent adventure, spring break at Yosemite!

End of the year boulders
December 20th, 2016
After Yosemite we spent a couple weekends climbing around on some local stuff. Here’s Paul sending Block Obama, v10

Then a final Hueco trip for the year. …after the dust settled that is.

Paul psyched on Crown of Aragorn, v13

And me psyched on The Bathtub, v9. I think you’ll be seeing a lot of these two climbs after the new year

Now it’s time to kick back with family and friends for the holidays. Yey!
